Love in the Lounge is designed to feel easy, friendly and well-organised — with just enough structure to help everyone relax and connect.

We expect this event to be popular, so we recommend booking early.

This first event is a pilot for ages 50–65. If it goes well, I’ll be adding additional age groups and new dates.

What to expect

• Friendly, well-organised, and gently hosted (you’ll be looked after)
• 3–4 minute dates with time to relax into conversation
• A comfortable venue with great atmosphere
• Match privately afterwards via a quick online form
• Photo ID check on arrival (for age verification and guest safety)

Date & time: Thursday 5th March, 7:00pm–9.30pm

Location: Puerto Lounge, 38 Commercial Road, Exeter EX2 4AE

Ticket price: £29 per person (food and drinks purchased separately)

Who can attend?

This event is for singles aged 50–65 who are open to meeting someone in real life.

It’s relaxed, friendly and welcoming — whether you’ve done speed dating before or it’s your first time.

How it works

7:00pm Arrive, check in, and grab a drink. You’ll receive your dating sheet and number

(Please arrive by 7.15pm so the dating can begin promptly at 7.20pm)

7:20pm The dating begins. Ladies take their seats and the gentlemen rotate.

Each mini-date lasts 3–4 minutes, with a bell to signal when to move.

Halfway break Time to refresh, mingle, or top up your drink.

9.30pm Finish — you’re welcome to stay on and socialise.

After the event matches are submitted privately via a short online form. If it’s a mutual match, contact details are shared the next day.
