Develop an understanding of children and young people's mental health. Explore looking after your own health and supporting your child.

The Nook from SAMH provides barrier-free access to mental health support, with no need to book an appointment, no need for referrals, and no waiting lists. Anyone looking for support can walk through the door and get help fast.

Delivered by the Scottish Action for Mental Health's Children and Young People team.

This workshop provides parents and carers of children and young people with a grounding in mental health awareness.

It defines mental health and wellbeing and explores the most common mental health problems affecting young people aged 16-24.

The workshop engages participants to explore their understanding of mental health stigma and discrimination, and consider how they can look after their own mental health, as well as support their children and young people with theirs.
