Discover how yoga and the written word support one another at an afternoon Yoga & Writing Workshop. This event, just under 3 hours, offers a space to explore their natural, complementary relationship.
After a brief introduction, a gentle yoga practice of breathwork (pranayama) and movement (asana) will guide us towards introspection. We'll then pause for a fifteen-minute break to snack and socialise. An hour of writing follows, with guidance and gentle encouragement from the host, who will offer prompts for those who would like them. Choose any style of writing which calls to you: verse, prose, freeform, or reflection.
The workshop closes with the option to share your words, before leaving calm and creatively renewed.
All levels welcome.
Mats and props will be provided.
Please bring a notebook or journal.
