A weekly invitation to rest, move gently, and reconnect through yoga, breath, reiki + ritual for those seeking a slower, softer pace

A gentle turning outward.

Longer days.

A weekly practice to help the body stay steady as early summer unfolds.

Join experienced facilitator Jen Nevin for this 6-week Early Summer Yoga Medicine Series, crossing Beltane, a seasonal threshold where energy, warmth and activity begin to rise.

This is not a fast-paced, fitness-style yoga class.

Rather than pushing or burning brighter, these sessions focus on staying regulated as things heat up- physically, emotionally and energetically. We’ll work with practices that support cooling, settling and discernment, helping you stay connected to yourself as life becomes fuller and more demanding.

Each class is an hour dedicated to rest and gentle movement, weaving together practices Jen uses in her own life - yin and restorative yoga, breathwork, sound, Reiki, simple ritual and moments of silence. The focus is on maintaining nervous system regulation, noticing when things start to feel too much, and finding ways to stay resourced as the season becomes more expansive.

Whether you drop in when you can or commit to the full series, this is a space held for you to pause, settle, and work with early summer gently rather than burning out.

Held in the quiet, sacred setting of St James’ Church in Baildon, these sessions offer a steady weekly anchor- somewhere to land, reflect, and tend to what’s growing without urgency or pressure.

Sessions may also include Reiki energy, crystal singing bowls, oracle cards, or rhythmic drumming, rooted in earth-based and seasonal practices.

🌀 What to Expect

– Gentle yoga and intuitive, grounding movement
– Breathwork and subtle energy awareness
– Restorative shapes and somatic rest
– Seasonal reflection, ritual and earth-based tools

We move together, but you’re always encouraged to follow your own rhythm.

These sessions are rooted in the deeper philosophy of yoga, honouring its ancient foundations as a practice of compassion, presence and attention. More than shapes on a mat, you’re encouraged to listen inward and respond to what’s there.
