Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding practice designed to support deep rest, nervous system regulation, and gentle release. This class focuses on long-held, supported postures that invite stillness and quiet awareness, allowing the body and mind to soften without effort or strain.
The class is accessible to all levels and encourages students to move at their own pace, with options and variations offered throughout. Emphasis is placed on breath, internal sensation, and listening to the body. You are encouraged to rest, modify, or skip any pose as needed.
Please bring a yoga mat and any props such as bolsters, blocks, or pillows to help create a supportive and comfortable experience. We do have a few yoga mats available at the Center if you need one.
