A course of weekly workshops to help you build creative confidence and move your creative writing project forward.

This course of weekly workshops is designed to help you build momentum on a creative project, work on structure, hone your style, solve narrative problems and learn to edit your own work. It's ideal for adults who are already writing - occasionally or regularly - or want to return to writing after a break. It's been running for a year now, with a mixture of people returning and people coming for the first time. (I keep the numbers limited and have almost filled the places with my email list, so there are only a few places up for grabs here.)

Sharing work can be terrifying, no matter how much you've written before, but B-Writing classes are supportive and encouraging, and we'll build in techniques to help you work round these fears. There'll also be free drop-in online writing sessions to help you keep writing between classes.

I know life can be complex and not everyone can commit to 10 classes. I’m therefore experimenting with a payment structure that lets you choose your level of commitment while allowing us to build a core community of writers.

Option 1: The 6 session pass - £190

  • Access to 6 sessions across 10 weeks (use them whenever you can attend)
  • Access to Zoom writing sessions (usually 1-2 a week) in between sessions
  • Pay-as-you-go for any further sessions you attend. £30 per session, payable by 6pm on the day.

Option 2: Full 10 week pass - £290

  • All 10 sessions at a cheaper rate
  • A manuscript critique (up to 3000 words) from Anna
  • Access to Zoom writing sessions (usually 1-2 a week) in between sessions
