What we'll do

• Read and discuss Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri, focusing on how culture, migration, and intimacy shape voice and scene.
• Introduce ideas from Edward Said, Homi K. Bhabha, and Gloria Anzaldúa, then translate them into practical tools for the page.
• Practise dialogue, register, and code-switching through short, targeted exercises.
• Draft new pages, share in a supportive manuscript circle, and leave with clear next steps.
