World Book Day Story Stomp

We're going all in for World Book Day at Wolston Library!

Join us for a lively story stomp session for all ages, packed with stories and songs as we celebrate World Book Day and the National Year of Reading

• Stories are for everyone: Young, old, somewhere in between? Enjoy a selection of stories with us this World Book Day
• Sing-Along: The tunes may be familiar, but the worlds might not be, sing-along with a few fun songs to go with the stories
• Guess who?: Can you guess which book characters our library staff are dressed up as? Join in the fun and come in costume (not a requirement)
• Can you find me?: Search the library and amongst the books to find what’s hidden?

This event is great for:

- Celebrating the books and the love of reading this World Book Day

- Connecting families across generations by encouraging reading together

- Engaging in the National Year of Reading

- Discovering what our libraries offer

Time: 11:00am - 11:30am

Date: Thursday 5th March 2026

Age: All ages (Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times)

Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
