Workshop: Build and paint your own bug hotel at Newhailes

In this fun workshop, you will build and paint your own bug hotel – get as creative as you like!

After the workshop, you can take it home, pop it in your garden and watch as bugs and beasties move in or come to visit as guests.

You will also receive our fabulous Newhailes Adventurers Trail booklet and pencils. Go off on a hunting mission across the estate either after your workshop or at any time of your choosing.

Ticket includes all materials and refreshments.

Suitable for ages 5–12

*Please dress in suitable clothing for crafting.

**Dogs are not permitted.

***Children must be accompanied by an adult; due to capacity, only one adult per child.

****Any siblings or friends must also have a ticket.
