Words & Pictures Exhibition launch
The Words and Pictures exhibition is the result of a collaborative project between two community-based groups: one a group of writers and the other photography-based artists.
The photographic images were created in response to the original writing provided by the writing group. The result is sixteen slides, made up of words and pictures, showing this creative collaboration.
The exhibition explores how written stories and ideas are reimagined as images, inviting viewers to experience the creative dialogue between text and photography.
It is hoped that future collaborations will explore this dialogue.
