Women's Wildlife Walk - Canford Heath Nature Reserve

Canford Heath Nature Reserve is one of the UK’s largest urban heaths, spanning 344 hectares and home to rare wildlife including all six native reptile species, Dartford warblers and silver‑studded blue butterflies.

Spending time in nature is known to support wellbeing, and this walk aims to help participants feel more confident enjoying these benefits.

This women‑only event offers a relaxed introduction to Canford Heath's unique habitats and wildlife that are found right on our doorstep.

Led by our friendly female rangers, the walk will follow a loop with lots of stopping points to pause, listen, discuss and reconnect with nature.

This event is open to women of all ages and backgrounds, and is LGBTQ+ inclusive.
