Restorative yoga is a gentle practice designed to calm the nervous system and reduce built-up stress. We will begin class with centering and getting in touch with our breath, followed by a gentle flow to prepare the body for restful poses. By holding supported poses for longer periods, your body shifts out of "fight or flight" mode and into deeper relaxation. Class will end with a guided body scan meditation.
