Women Teaching Women: Create With A Community

Join us for a series of skills based classes tought by local women. Come join a small group for a night of creating each week and learn something new. Bring a friend and come make new ones! Light refreshments will be provided along with any tools or materials one may need.

January 8th -Vison Board Building & Intentional Tea Ceremony

Start the new year with a magical evening of intuition and creativity with The Cozy Artist at the Black Swan Inn in Tilton, NH. Through an intention-infused tea ceremony and a guided intuitive collage process, we’ll tune into our subconscious, reflect, and create deeply personal visual expressions.

January 22nd-Learn to knit (Basic tools provided)

This will be a beginner knitting class, starting from learning to cast on and moving on to a basic knit stitch. I will endeavor to work one-on-one with those who need more help, and move those who pick it up quicker on to the next step as necessary.

February 12th-Learn to:Pen + Ink

In this pen and ink class, we will explore mark-making techniques that create texture, depth, and value. The focus will be on stippling, scumbling, and cross-hatching to build form and movement through line. Also, learn how controlled and expressive marks can suggest light, shadow, and surface. Emphasis is placed on observation, layering, and developing confidence with the pen.

February 26th-Paint N Sip Originals-Highland Cow

Through this step by step instruction, you will learn to paint the highland cow and all its glory! Layering, color options and creativity will create this cute, one of a kind piece.
