About the Outing Leader: Jeff is an avid outdoor enthusiast & naturalist who’s been enjoying the natural world for 50 years. He’s a member of the Friends of the Fells, The Trustees, Mass Audubon, Sudbury Valley Trustees, Acton Conservation Trust, Arlington Land Trust, Essex Greenbelt, Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Tufts University, Newton Conservators and The Massachusetts Archaeological Society, Inc.
About the Outing: Please join Jeff for a Winter Guided Nature Walk at Bellevue Pond. We’ll focus on plant ID with select natural history and lore mixed in too. And we’ll use helpful identifiers such as branching patterns, galls, leaf scars, fruits and diagnostic characteristics that enable us to immediately identify the plant. And maybe we’ll get to climb Wright’s Tower.
We will meet at the Bellevue Pond Parking Lot across from 70 South Border Road.
**PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY - PARKING CAN FILL QUICKLY**
** Please do not register unless you can absolutely attend this walk. We often have waitlists and would like as many people as possible to be able to attend **
