
Join Sean Jones Photography at Ripon City Wetlands Nature Reserve for this introductory workshop on wildlife photography.
This half day course will give you a basic understanding of how best to capture wildlife on camera. Your guide will talk you through composition, light, technique and using your equipment as you take in the wonderful surroundings of this thriving nature reserve.

What to bring/wear
Your own camera and equipment will be required for this workshop. You may also wish to bring binoculars.
This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear.
Toilets and catering
There are no toilets at this nature reserve and no catering facilities. You're welcome to bring a drink and/or snack with you but please take your litter home with you.

Parking
The car park is open (November - February) 9:00am - 4:00pm or (March - October) 9:00am - 5:00pm. Parking is free for members of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. We ask non-members for a donation.
You can access the nature reserve by foot via the canal towpath from dawn until dusk. When the car park is closed (out of hours and on race days) you can park in Littlethorpe village and access the nature reserve via Renton’s Bridge which crosses the canal (grid reference SE330 685) or on Boroughbridge Road before the bridge.
