To celebrate 70 years of Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust, we invite our members to join us as we walk through one of our oldest acquired reserves. Though Christmas might have passed and carols left the air, merriment and song continues in the calls and cries of Thrushes.
\nJoin Andy Neilson, Senior Reserve Officer, for a winter’s walk through Charnwood Lodge and listen out for the festive chorus of woodland birds.
\nAnd if frost or snow should cover the ground, worry not, for the fungi that relish the cold, that have popped up through the frozen earth, shall be as signpost, as you walk onward through the passing season.
