Join us for an intimate and inspiring evening with author Jaymie L. Walker as she celebrates and signs her debut memoir, Who Am I? on Friday, March 6th from 6–7PM.
Jaymie L. Walker is an aspiring author whose passion for storytelling was born from a place of darkness and transformed through creativity, film, and faith. A student at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, Jaymie discovered her voice through meaningful connections, creative workshops, and a life-changing internship at Cinespace Studios Chicago through Independence Film Alliance. These experiences helped her unlock her confidence, embrace her purpose, and step fully into her calling to share her story with the world—and empower others to do the same.
In her powerful, jaw-clenching memoir Who Am I?, Jaymie takes readers on a journey back to childhood, revisiting the traumatic moments that shaped her life from the age of six into adulthood. Through deeply personal reflections, she explores complex family dynamics and uncovers a generational curse that has followed her lineage for years. Faced with this truth, Jaymie is forced to confront who she has been versus who God is calling her to become. At its heart, this book is a story of identity, healing, faith, and the courage to break generational cycles.
