Part of the London RISE Open Education Fortnight

Join us at Drapers’ Maylands Primary School for an engaging talk and tour of our modern, purpose-built school, and discover our inspiring learning environment where children thrive.

The 2-hour session begins with a summary of the school systems and how they are consistent in all year groups to enable the most inclusive environment for all. Barriers to learning are addressed through classroom management, arrangements for curriculum and activities as well as some more specialist enhancement. After the short summary talk, tours of the school begin with stops in classrooms to feel and see what we mean by the 'universal offer'. A review discussion will provide opportunities for questions and behind the scenes monitoring to help embed and enable effective practice.

Key Takeaways:

  • Handout of our universal offer and key strategies.
  • Impact and Outcome meeting example proformas.
  • Action plan for how to implement or transfer what you are looking for into your own setting.

Parking is available in the visitors’ car park on Settle Road, and we are a short journey by bus (route 496) from Harold Wood Station on the Elizabeth line.

We can't wait to welcome you to Drapers' Maylands!

Please note: We are hosting the same session on two dates:

  • Wednesday, 11th March 2026
  • Wednesday, 18th March 2026

Important: To ensure everyone has a chance to attend, please sign up for only one date.
