Haydn's Nelson Mass
In vivid contrast, Haydn’s Missa in Angustiis—often called the Nelson Mass—bursts with drama and jubilant energy. Written during a turbulent time in European history, it stands as one of Haydn’s most powerful and emotionally charged sacred works, filled with vibrant orchestral colour and choral brilliance that thrills from first note to last.
Seating
Seating for this concert is allocated in the Central Nave and un-allocated (issued on a first come, first served basis) in the Side Aisles. We advise guests arrive in good time to find their seats so that the concert can start on time. All guests must be seated at least 10 minutes before the concert start time.
The seating map provided on Eventbrite is intended as a general guide for reference purposes and may not be fully reflective of the actual seating arrangements. Please be aware that the Brown and White seats have a restricted or no view of the stage.
