A monthly learning series exploring land, food, and community through a grounded, accessible lens.

Land School is our ongoing monthly series where we slow down and learn about the land in a way that feels real, approachable, and connected to everyday life. This is not a lecture or a technical training. It is a space to understand how soil, food, plants, and community shape the way we live, grow, and move through the seasons.

Each month focuses on a different theme tied to the time of year. Winter centers rest and preparation. Spring focuses on planting and new growth. Summer brings tending and care. Fall turns toward reflection, transition, and returning nutrients back to the ground. The sessions flow with the natural rhythm of the year so the learning always feels grounded.

We talk through the basics in plain language. Soil health, food justice, gardening, seasonal rhythms, environmental care, and the cultural memory embedded in our relationship to land. Some sessions are hands-on. Others are discussion based. All of them are built to make land knowledge accessible, especially for folks who never felt seen or welcomed in traditional outdoor spaces.

No experience needed.
Just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

This series is open to adults.
We keep the group small so people can ask questions, share experiences, and learn in community.
