Join us for a relaxed monthly hike led by Friends of Ottawa NWR intern Mia Pesci, an avid birder and volunteer at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. These guided walks focus on birds, wildlife, and the subtle moments in nature that are easy to miss when you’re walking alone. Hikes may follow a different route each month, checking out whatever is interesting at the time!
Mia brings a curious eye, a love of learning, and a deep appreciation for this place, shaped by years of birding, taking photos, and volunteering at the refuge.
