Walking Tour - Warrior Women

​Meet the women who have shaped history: fighting for the vote, equal pay…their religion, their country. Not heroines, not villains, many flawed. But all the women on this tour fought for what they thought was right, often against the odds.... and they changed the world.

You will hear about politicians, queens, campaigners and spies.

As we walk from Westminster and along Whitehall, you will hear about politicians, queens, campaigners and spies......and you will see the monuments and buildings that mark the achievements and the dark deeds of these women.

We will travel through a two thousand years of history, starting with the warrior queen who fought the Romans to avenge her daughters...

At Parliament Square we will put ourselves in the heart of the protests amongst the women who fought for the vote - the militants, the propagandists, the peaceful protestors.....

We will encounter the daring adrenalin junkie known as Churchill's favourite spy, and meet the reluctant revolutionary who went from weeping child bride to a queen who usurped her father.

The tour includes the famous, the infamours as well as other characters who are fading from historical memory but who deserve to live on in our hearts and minds.

It will be 1 hour 40 minutes of entertainment, insight, emotion and inspiration. Please join me.
