Unlock the secrets of CNY! From lion dances to sacred sugarcane, discover the hidden meanings behind Singapore’s festive rituals. ✨

Join me on this 7th day of CNY renri . Discover the hidden layers and ancient symbolism of the Lion City’s most vibrant festival.

This immersive walking tour takes you beyond the red lanterns to explore traditions that vary across religions, households, and generations.

From the maritime heritage of Southern China to the current modern Singapore, we reveal the significance of rituals performed at precise days and times. Whether it’s the hours spent queuing for new banknotes, the search for the perfect sugarcane stalk, or the thunderous rhythm of the lion dance, you will walk away with a deep understanding of this time-treasured festival.

Please take note:

1) This is a 1.5 to 2 hours walking tour.

2) We will meet at Maxwell MRT station exit 1 (Next to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple)

3) Please put on comfortable foot wear, have an umbrella and water with you.

4) Please covered the shouders and have bottoms that covered beyond the knees as we would enter places of worship.

5) If you find the tour insightful, please feel free to tip your licensed tourist guide based on the quality of your experience.
