The exploration of voice limitations, transgressing them, and its connections.

A specialised Workshop for Artists & Performers

Join Ditte Berkeley, Voice Practitioner, Researcher (Grotowski Institute), and Creator (Teatr ZAR), for an exploration of voice into your voice and how your voice is reflected and fused in the voices of others.

We will focus on:

  • The Individual Core: Finding the unwavering strength and physical foundation (breath, support, imagination) to stand confidently in the sound of your own voice.
  • The Voices Reflected: Exploring how your voice is echoed, challenged, and fused with others, discovering the potent, collaborative power within a polyphonic musical structure.
  • The Naked Exchange: Understanding the voice's role in creating a deep, honest connection. As Ditte says: "The voice is naked, and allows us to share on a level that we are not used to..."

This is work for the artist who seeks to enrich their tools for communication and allow their song to become a vessel for a profound exchange of experience.

Ideal for Actors, Singers, Ensemble Performers, and Artists.
