Vision Boards craft workshop in Montgomery County, Md.

Have some fun setting your goals for the new year, the crafty way. Create a vision board that reflects your goals, dreams, or just all the things that bring you joy going into the new year.

You'll start with a blank board (a fresh slate for the new year!) and then choose from a huge buffet of craft supplies to build your board, including stickers, photos, washi tape, patterned paper, quotes, beads, postcards, and more. Fill every inch of your board with dreams and plans, or leave space to add as the year goes on. Your board can be neat and orderly, or chaotic and maximalist — the tone is totally up to you.

We’ll provide a few prompts and ideas, as well as a “word of the year” list if you want to center your board on a specific theme. This workshop can be whatever you’d like — a serious look at what you want to accomplish in 2026; a chance to play with materials and spark joy; or some combination of the two. Most of all, take a few moments just for yourself to ponder the year ahead!

This workshop is open to all ages (under 11 must be accompanied by an adult), so bring the family for a few hours of creativity and intention-setting.
