Ever wanted to design your own video game? Our Game Design Club is a hands-on, creative session where young people can design, build, and play their own games using Bloxels — a fun and accessible game-making platform.

Across the sessions, participants will:

● Design original game worlds and characters

● Build and customise levels using Bloxels

● Learn how gameplay, challenges, and scoring work

● Test, play, and improve their own games

● Publish their games online to play at home and share with friends and family

The club is perfect for beginners and for young people who enjoy gaming, creativity, or digital design. No coding experience is needed — Bloxels makes game design visual, playful, and easy to understand.

All equipment is provided, and sessions are led by experienced facilitators from Digital Arts Box and Mako Create, in partnership with YMCA St Helens. The focus is on creativity, problem-solving, and building confidence in a supportive, youth-friendly environment.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
