Vanderbilt Blue Note Combo

The Blue Note Combo is the premier small jazz ensemble of the Vanderbilt Blair School of Music. Under the direction of Ryan Middagh and Jeff Coffin, the Blue Note Combo is made up of some of the finest improvisers and composers in the Blair School of Music. Performing exclusively originally music, this genre-bending group draws from elements of swing, funk, pop, rock, and world music, all while being steeped in the jazz tradition.
