Speaker Profile:
Mr Shankar Panchadcharam, Senior Director, Business Development, UOB Asset Management
Mr Shankar is a Senior Director at UOB Asset Management in Singapore. He joined the company in 2011. His team is responsible for marketing the firm’s investment capabilities to and developing investment solutions for the core distribution channels in the Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei and other regional markets in Asia. His responsibilities also include client servicing and supporting the regional offices in business development.

Prior to this, he was the Head of Investments at UOB Bank Malaysia looking at Investment Product offerings which includes Unit Trust Funds, Structured Investments and other Investment Solutions. He has more than 22 years’ experience in the retail investment industry with previous roles in Asset Management Companies and Financial Institutions.
