Underground Books Presents: Kevin Powers Author Reading & Book Signing

Join Underground Books at the Guild Theater for a special Author Reading and Book Signing with Kevin Powers, celebrating his latest children’s book, O’Shea’s Seed of Faith, as part of 40 Acres Complex Black History Month programming.

In O’Shea’s Seed of Faith, young O’Shea spends a special day planting a sunflower seed with his grandma and learning lessons about patience, care, and faith—wisdom he carries forward and shares with his siblings.

The author reading will take place at the Guild Theater. Immediately following the reading, guests are invited to walk next door to Underground Books for the book signing, where books will be available for purchase and signing.

This family-friendly event invites children and adults alike to enjoy a heartfelt story centered on generational wisdom, growth, and the power of faith.
