Join us for the UK Games Skills Summit, a key event uniting educators, industry leaders, and policymakers to address the long-term skills needs of the video games and interactive entertainment sector. Bringing education, industry and Government together to take action on the long-term skills needs of the video game industry. The UK Games Skill Summit is supported by the BFI and co-hosted with Ukie.

The summit will open with remarks from Nick Poole (Ukie), Sara Whybrew (BFI), Lisa Opie (ScreenSkills), and a keynote from Ian Murray MP, Minister for the Arts, Culture and Tourism.

The afternoon will focus on practical action and discussion across three dedicated tracks:

  • Education and Entry Pathways – exploring how to attract and equip the next generation of games talent.
  • Workforce Development and Retention – strategies to support and grow the existing workforce.
