The UK Animation & Music Video Fest showcases the most original, exciting & well realised animation & music videos from around the world!

We’d like to welcome our wonderful filmmakers to this season’s fantastic and international line-up of music videos and animated films!

Short synopses of the brilliant films we’ll be showcasing…..

Trapped in a world of artificial perfection, a grotesque man’s life is transformed when a freak accident leaves him strikingly handsome. Gilbert and George are an artistic duo working and living together in the East End of London since the 1960s. Their large bold imagery reflects their lives and their thoughts and covers the most important subjects in the world. Death, Hope, Life, Fear, Sex, Money, Race, Religion. Kylmän Syliin is a hot tango that is dedicated to ice-swimming. A surreal interview between an unknown presence and a Japanese woman. Built from fragments. Drifting between digital memory and emotional truth. In a prestigious modern art museum, self-proclaimed experts Joseph and Claire move through the exhibits with unwavering confidence, extracting profound meaning from even the simplest objects. The short film itself shows the dystopian future of our civilization and its evolution. A key scene from the 1927 film Metropolis is reinterpreted as a music video; a cautionary tale to today's audience about the seductive powers and dangers of Artificial Intelligence and the Metaverse. “Give It To Me" is a vibrant, Blaxploitation-era inspired music video set in a 1970s disco wonderland. In a securely locked basement, a futuristic robot vacuum cleaner, designed in a cyberpunk style, clumsily chases a feather, creating a whimsical and child-friendly spectacle. As the viewer watches….Have your thoughts ever kept you up at night? This stop-motion animated music video guides the listener through a nighttime anxiety episode. Matins Sauvages depicts the last days of two wanderers, exploring a world of wilderness, and bidding farewell to the skies they saw a thousand times. Cats and Robots clash in a vicious war in the music video for Les Savy Fav’s "Guzzle Blood". And you thought JAWS was scary. (This is part of the three "Attack of the Killer Rubber Duckies" feature length movies in the works.) Music Video for 'Let's Go' - An all night party for the very experienced. A young monster struggles to live up to his father's legacy. Animated music video inspired by the band's own artwork. 12 years living on the streets of Freetown, Sierra Leone, led to the writing of Ghetto Hero, an inspirational track by Mash P. Director MSK lived on the streets for 15 years, before becoming a filmmaker.

The UK Animation & Music Video Festival's remit is to have a much more in-depth showcase for two of our and our audience's favourite genres; films with animation & music at their centre.
