Connect with leading organisations in risk, disaster, business continuity and humanitarian sectors. Open to all UCL undergraduate and postgraduate students, UCL staff and UCL Risk & Disaster Reduction (RDR) alumni.
UCL Risk & Disaster Reduction's annual 'Careers Discovery Evening' connects organisations with talented undergraduate and postgraduate students who want to explore roles in risk, disaster, business continuity and the humanitarian sector. Business representatives will showcase career and volunteer opportunities in their organisations and engage with students in a relaxed, one-on-one setting.
This year, we’ll also have dedicated stands for UCL RDR Master’s courses and UCL Careers, providing information and guidance on further study and career development. Additionally, UCL RDR alumni and current PhD students will be on hand to share their experiences and answer your questions about their career journeys.
Open to all UCL undergraduate and postgraduate students, UCL staff and UCL RDR alumni.
Attendance is free, but registration is required.
The event runs from 19:00 to 20:30. Drop in at any time to visit exhibitor stalls and speak with representatives.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket to reduce waste.
The exhibition space will feature exhibitors from commercial organisations, international non-governmental organisations, the public sector, and academia. Visit their stands to learn about job opportunities in their organisations, many of which operate globally, as well as volunteering and internship opportunities.
