This talk is part of the “Turning Negative Distress to Positive Happiness” series, focusing on the second “Happy Recipe.” It highlights how Buddha, moved by the world’s suffering, appeared 2,500 years ago to teach a clear path to lasting happiness. By following his teachings, one can reduce distress and cultivate genuine peace. The session features David Sim, who has studied Lamrim since 2010 and found direction through Buddha’s wisdom. Over the years, he has gained insights that helped him overcome challenges and live with greater purpose. In this sharing, he hopes to pass on practical methods that others can apply in daily life to remove unhappiness and build joy from within. The event is conducted in English at BWM Learning Centre@Bugis and is open to all who wish to learn how Buddha wisdom can guide modern life toward clarity, resilience, and happiness.
