Never Tooo Loud welcomes Berlin based producer and DJ Lars Huismann, an artist who has been steadily shaping his own lane within techno since 2011. Rooted in dub techno influences, his sound blends early 2000s aesthetics with modern production clarity, creating tracks that feel both familiar and forward moving. This balance first took form on his LHR imprint and later crystallised in the “Sounds From The Past” trilogy on Mutual Rytm, where depth, groove and restraint defined his signature.

Across releases such as “Catharsis” and more recently the “Mechanized” EP on Monnom Black, Huismann has expanded into darker and more driving territories while retaining his sense of space and control. On “Mechanized,” he leans into Tribal Techno, drawing from its lineage without confining himself to trend or revival. Fierce 909 percussion, syncopated hand drums and late 90s tension building interplay sit at the core, channeling history while introducing subtle new ideas beneath the surface. His approach honours the past without being bound to it.

In the booth, Lars Huismann delivers that same clarity and propulsion. Precision meets groove, and each layer is placed with intent, building momentum that locks the room in for hours.

For this edition, TMDDJ opens the cage, setting the foundation before Lars Huismann takes control of the main room. Upstairs, Amber and EJ guide the second floor, keeping the energy flowing across both spaces throughout the night.
