
This workshop is designed for anybody interested in how to manage living with trauma either for themselves or to gain a better understanding to support a loved one.
Opening with a discussion about what trauma is and how it affects us from a neuroscientific perspective, we will explore some yoga / somatic techniques to come back into our own experience, our body. These techniques can help with processing trauma and / or regulating our nervous system.
The physical aspect of this workshop will be very gentle and accessible, no previous yoga experience needed. We will have time at the end to do some journaling. There will be home made raw cacao bites and herbal tea after the workshop (included in price).
Open Level, not suitable for pregnant ladies due to some of the techniques used.
