On Saturday, January 17, 2026, the Ida Green Communication Center theater (Austin College) transforms into a fully realized world of sound, story, and spectacle brought to life by The Trainwreck & Friends.

About the Show

Originally conceived by Roger Waters, The Wall tells the haunting story of a rock star’s descent into isolation and madness. It is a journey through loss, control, rebellion, and redemption. This live staging reimagines that story with immersive visuals and emotional storytelling that pulls you straight into Pink’s world. From the defiant anthem “Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2” to the swagger of “Young Lust”, and from the swooning “Nobody Home” to the breathtaking climax “The Trial,” every song unfolds as part of a dramatic arc, a complete theatrical experience that combines music, performance, and message. There are beautiful, emotional parts of the show contrasted with the visceral ugliness that is indicative of a descent into madness, challenging everyone to consider the walls we all build.
