VSPRTN (Vespertine) is a Durham, NC–based DJ, producer, and educator recognized for a refined, genre-bending approach blending hip-hop, house, baile funk, and disco club music. They merge technical precision with cultural storytelling, crafting immersive soundscapes that honor musical lineage, foster community connection, and expand the boundaries of contemporary club expression.

On stage, VSPRTN has opened for luminaries like Suzi Analogue, J Hoard, Made of Oak, and James Bangura of Black Rave Culture, and he is a regular presence in Durham’s nightlife — commanding dance floors at beloved venues like Rubies on Five Points, The Fruit and Club Era. With collaborations spanning local crews like Renaissance Disko. Their name is synonymous with forward-thinking sonic curation and unapologetic self-expression.
