
A hybrid GPS and roadbook navigation challenge set on some of Devon’s finest green lanes.
Teams of 2–6 riders will navigate a network of waypoints using plotted coordinates, teamwork, and strategy.
Bike eligibility:
Road-legal trail, adventure, or even mopeds are welcome.
Enduro bikes are not allowed.
Teams must stay together at all times—no splitting up to collect extra points.
Navigation preparation is identical for both classes; only lane difficulty differs.
Time: 8:00–17:00
Format: GPS waypoint hunt
One month before the event, waypoint coordinates (Lat/Long + What3Words) will be emailed to team captains.
Plot them on your chosen navigation setup and build your own route strategy.
You’ll receive an answer sheet on Saturday morning.
Return to camp before 17:00 and hand in your completed sheet.
Prize giving on Saturday night.
Scored separately (Saturday’s results used only as a tie-breaker).
One team member will need a handlebar-mounted, powered:
Follow the digital tulip-style roadbook and match the mileages. Hidden virtual waypoints and speed traps measure your accuracy automatically.
Distance: ~100 km
Includes a built-in lunch/pasty stop.
No time pressure—most teams will finish between 14:00–15:00 even with a relaxed hour for lunch.
