The Only King in Concert - Cambridge Tour

Presented by The Stage Only, The Only King is the first sung-through Biblical Cantonese musical, created by award-winning director Henry Fong and music director Peter Kam.

Inspired by the Old Testament: 1 Samuel 8–31, this landmark musical tells the powerful biblical story of King Saul and David.

First staged in 2005, The Only King shook the stage with multiple sold-out runs and set a new benchmark for Christian musical theatre. Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, restaging in UK in concert format with fresh arrangements by renowned artists Johnny Yim and Anthony Chue. The production premieres in London in 2026, followed by a tour to Cambridge.

The show will be performed in Cantonese with English subtitles, with an approximate running time of 2 hours 30 minutes including an interval.
