The same popular storytelling competition, but this time, the stories are told by college students!
Some people say that nothing good happens after midnight - others would argue that’s when the magic happens. Whether it was because you were dancing the night away, cramming for a big test, or just trying to stay up with your friends to see the sun rise, we’ve all pulled an all-nighter. On February 20th, we’re inviting you to step up to the stage and tell your stories about what you experienced between the witching hour and the break of dawn, because what happens in the dark must always come to light.
About The Monti StorySLAM (18 & up event)
The Monti StorySLAM is an open storytelling event, where anyone with a story (in this case, college students) on a certain theme has a chance to tell it. This is a competitive event, so there will be judges in the audience. At each event, there will be eight storytellers chosen at random; each story is five minutes long; one winner will be declared at the end of the night. Here's how you can tell your story:
Winners from each StorySLAM will qualify for The Monti GrandSLAM in April 2026. The GrandSLAM brings the winners back to compete for the ultimate title of The Monti GrandSLAMpion!
