The Homie's Healin'
We are culivating an honest & inclusive space to unpack the realities of grieving (things both alive & forever lost), the multi-facets of heartbreak, collective mental health, healing after crisis, spirituality, struggle and the power of cultural work to radicalize community. Music, journaling, and open forum discussion will be the tools used to dissect said topics—and develop reasoning with the intended purpose of cultivating introspection & collective healing. The environment expects to break the fourth wall that separates “artist & audience” as this is NOT a conventional live performance—but is rather a shared experience in creative expression, experiential discourse, and cultural work in praxis.
