The Hill Brothers love jamming, improvising, and composing with other musicians. They do so on a weekly basis at their open mic nights, often only having ten minutes to come up with an idea for a song and craft it into a composition in front of an audience. They believe in an ever-increasing world of AI and digital tools, that writing music with others in the same room and making a real connection is still the key to creating something inspiring. Come to this workshop if you’re curious about tips and tricks for writing songs in the moment and how to get the best out of your current playing ability by combining it with the skills of others. All instruments are welcome: singers, guitarists, keyboard players, bass players, drummers, brass players, and others. “If you can play some chords or hold a steady beat, you’re ready for this workshop.”
