The Fugitive Chorus marks the opening night of all that we carry: an ode to love, struggle, politics, and scholarship... a group exhibition curated by Kenny Bullock.
The exhibition centers collective memory, care, and storytelling through installation, performance, and participation. At its core is a seven-foot bag, a sculptural vessel designed to hold offerings, stories, and the weight of what we carry together.
Opening night is a gathering meant to fill the space and set intention for the weeks ahead. Guests are invited to bring a small item they are ready to put down and leave behind, contributing to the living archive of the exhibition. Movement and music will guide the evening, so please come ready to dance.
