Stageplay by: Corey Shields

Directed by: E'tian LaRue

Imagine ...

If Martin Luther King, Jr had the opportunity to speak with

Huey P. Newton, and he had the chance to talk with Kunta Kinte,

and if he could have spoken to W.E.B. Dubois, and what if

he communicated with Stacey Abrams...

Or Sticks and Stones may break my bones , but words will...

Wait a minute, what do the words have to say about it?

The "words" , NEGRO, COLORED, BLACK , AFRICAN AMERICAN, and yes,

the Notorious "N" word;

Discuss their toubled pasts and take on their complicated futures to

determine whose NAME drops next, all while playing a game of

Spades.

You play a role in this intriging play, Name Dropping as they debate who the

community wants to represent the People in today's World.

The play is followed by Q & A w/ cast!

Come Listen to the Conversation!
