The BACH Awards (Bay Area Culture Honors)

The Award exclusively for performers, by performers.

Join BOSS Idea House on Sunday, March 1st at The Café as we help honor the best drag performers, gogos, DJs, and burlesque performers in the Bay. This is an industry award — not a popularity contest — with nominations and voting conducted exclusively by performers.

No one knows the winners until envelopes are unsealed, trophies handed over, and names annonced live on stage.

• Find out which DJ other DJs recognize as a steadfast advocate for the Bay's LGBTQ+ community.
• Know which drag performer other drag performers honor as a supporter of artists and culture.
• See who gogos think is the best among them on stage under the spotlight.
• And find out, in the last award of the night, which venue performers consider the Venue of the Year.

Schedule:

Doors open at 3pm for a reception and warm-up to the evening.

Ceremony begins just after 4pm, with remarks, special guest presenters, a short break, and more. The ceremony will last roughly 60-75 minutes.

Immediately following the ceremony, we will be partying the evening away as a community.

Dress Code:

• The theme is "Give Them Their Flowers." While this isn't a formal event, we encourage you to be comfortable, creative, and a bit elevated with your interpretation of the theme — patterns, materials, accessories, silhouettes, colors, etc.
