The 2nd Annual North East Florida Trans Resource Fair

The Queer Trans Project is proud to host the second annual North East Florida Trans Resource Fair — a day of resources, celebration, and community connection. Join us as we bring together nonprofits, healthcare providers, local businesses, and artists to uplift the trans community across our region.

This event is free and open to all — trans, nonbinary, gender-expansive, questioning, allies, friends, and families.

What’s Happening

• Vendor Village featuring nonprofits, businesses, and community groups
• Breakout sessions with doctors, advocates, and leaders
• Free haircuts, makeup, and affirming care stations
• Build-a-Queer Kit pop-up
• Live performances by local trans talent: drag queens, DJs, and bands
• Refreshments

The centerpiece of the day is a keynote session featuring special guest speakers Zaya Perysian, Freddie Chen, and Cielo Sunsarae – three influential BIPOC trans leaders who will come together to share insights and inspiration. This panel will be moderated by Alexis G. Williams, Deputy Director of The Queer Trans Project. Seating for the keynote is limited, so arrive early to secure a spot!

Keynote Speakers

• Cielo Sunsarae (they/he): Founder and Executive Director of The Queer Trans Project, and a trailblazing LGBTQ+ advocate who stands at the forefront of community education and activism. Their passion for progress even reaches the stars, as Cielo Sunsarae achieved the remarkable feat of becoming part of NASA's Astrophysics database of IDEA practitioners, showcasing their boundless curiosity and intellectual prowess.
• Freddie Chen (she/her): A popular Chinese-American beauty content creator and co-host of the “T4T” podcast. Known for her YouTube channel (1.3M+ subscribers), Freddie recently came out as a transgender woman and has been sharing her transition journey across her platforms. She uses her influence in the beauty community to promote inclusivity, empowerment, and poignant commentary on trans issues.
• Zaya Perysian (she/her): A 23-year-old TikTok personality, actress, and activist who gained national recognition for challenging anti-trans policies. Zaya became the first person in the country to push back against President Trump’s passport gender-marker rule – joining an ACLU lawsuit that successfully blocked the policy in 2025. With 5 million TikTok followers, she has been a bold voice for transgender rights, using social media and legal action to protect the community.
