Welcome to the Tampa Bay Beekeepers Honey Bee Seminar!

Come join us for a buzzing good time at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds! This in-person event is perfect for bee enthusiasts of all levels. Learn about the fascinating world of honey bees from experienced beekeepers. Learn how to get started with beekeeping and how to maintain your own hives. Discover the importance of these amazing pollinators!

Our seminar will cover topics such as hive building, getting your 1st bees, hive management, beekeeping equipment, and honey extraction. Get hands-on experience with live demonstrations in a workshop setting. Whether you're a new beekeeper or are thinking of starting out, this event is sure to be sweet as honey!

While registration is open, we will have a coffee and donuts available. We will start with a general overview of the bees and then break off into smaller groups for a more one on one experience at individual stations. We will have a coffee break and at noon a hearthy lunch provided to you. and then continue the workshops till we wrap up around 3 pm.

The parking is free, the venue has a large indoor hall, and a large covered arena where the stations will be. So rain, "sleet" or shine we will give you an awesome experience!
