Come along to a Talking Transport meeting: tell us what you think, ask questions and hear the latest news about transport plans in your area

We know that some places are harder or more expensive to get to than they should be. Travel information and fares are too complicated as well. We want to hear your travel experiences to help inform our decision-making.

Our new Talking Transport meetings will take place twice a year, bringing together people who shape the way transport works in your area. You’ll get to hear what we’re doing to improve transport, locally and across West Yorkshire, and to ask questions and share your experiences.

The meeting will be led by your Transport Engagement Lead Councillor, Cllr Matthew McLoughlin, in partnership with us (the West Yorkshire Combined Authority) and Kirklees Council. Transport Engagement Leads are local councillors who are responsible for working closely with the Combined Authority on transport.

Operators of transport services in the area are also invited to join the meeting and answer any questions about their services.

If you're interested in joining a Talking Transport meeting in a different area, please visit the Talking Transport page on Your Voice.”

For those who cannot join us at an in-person event, a recording of all presentations will be added to the Talking Transport Your Voice page once the events have taken place. The Question and Answer section of the page will also be open for any questions.
