Sustainable Fashion Show (Public)

Join us for a celebration of sustainable style at our first-ever charity shop fashion show! This event is a key part of our exciting new initiative, Shop for the Future, dedicated to bringing new energy and life to Selby’s high street.

The Shop for the Future project is supported by David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire and funded by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority. This vital support, part of a county-wide effort, makes Selby the only town with a project focused on rejuvenating our high street by celebrating the unique strength and identity of our charity shops. This fashion show is our first major step in showing how pre-loved fashion can attract residents and visitors, increase footfall, and contribute to a thriving town centre.

This unique event showcases how you can build a stylish, on-trend wardrobe while supporting local charities and protecting the planet. All the outfits featured on the runway have been carefully curated from local charity shops, proving that pre-loved fashion is not only a fantastic way to express your personal style but also a powerful choice for a more sustainable future.
