This CPD course is designed for business leaders, senior and middle managers responsible for shaping strategy and delivering organisational change. It is particularly relevant for those who are aiming to embed sustainability into core business operations, and professionals navigating regulatory demands, investor priorities, and shifting consumer expectations. BU will issue a certificate to attendees who complete the course. The course is not CPD accredited but is delivered by the Business School, which is AACSB accredited and has also earned the Small Business Charter Award, a recognition of its significant contributions to small businesses, student entrepreneurship, and the local economy.
This CPD course, developed by the BU Centre for Sustainable Business Transformations , is delivered by a team of experienced academics and industry experts, each specialising in key areas of sustainability.

How to create scalable, profitable business models that align with sustainability goals and meet corporate responsibility expectations.
How to streamline operations and manage supply chains with a sustainability focus.
How to identify and leverage key technologies that enable sustainable transformations and overcome related challenges.
How to leverage AI to be more productive, sustainable and competitive, and how to utilize an appropriate AI.
Understand principles of sustainability accounting, ISSB standards, and UK government policies on sustainability reporting and environmental taxation.
How to communicate sustainability efforts effectively, avoiding greenwashing and greenhushing.
How to lead organisational change to enable transformations towards sustainable business models in the digital era.
